The Ascent of Olympus: What's Evolving and Why


As announced in our most recent update, the Ascent of Olympus is entering a new phase.


As the season concludes, the Ascent is taking a short break ahead of the launch of a new chapter.
This is the perfect moment to walk through what's changing in the new chapter and the reasons behind those changes.

A Break Between Two Seasons


Up until now, the seasons of Ascent of Olympus ran continuously.
Each season will now be followed by a three-week break, during which you won't be able to make progress in the Ascent.
These breaks will help clearly define the end of each season and allow for better preparation for the next.
During this time:

  • your Obols and Drachmas will, of course, remain unaffected,
  • your Hero horses will continue producing them as long as your storage is not full.

Balance Updates Before Resumption


A few balance updates will also accompany the resumption.
Encounters will require more strategic preparation.
Bonuses are now better spaced, letting you make strategic choices throughout the Ascent of Olympus according to your progression and playstyle.
The objective is to ensure that your progression isn't based on an obvious choice, but on decisions that have real impact.

The Next Chapter


In the next chapter of Ascent of Olympus, you'll venture into the Underworld, face a new boss and discover a new set of divine horses.
The Ascent of Olympus will introduce a new atmosphere and universe while keeping its core mechanics and foundations intact.

The journey will alternate between the Gods of Olympus and the Gods of the Underworld.


In this new cycle, the Ascent will shift back and forth between:

  • seasons dedicated to the Gods of the Underworld,
  • seasons dedicated to the Gods of the Olympus, who will return for a new cycle.

This cycle will give you another chance to acquire Gods you might have missed in earlier seasons.
On another note, if you already own the Olympus boss from a previous season, the fragments you obtain will correspond to the divine currently available.

What Now?


The Ascent of Olympus is currently on a break.
The new chapter will begin on 17th February 2026.

Interface updates and improvements


As part of a larger and deeper interface overhaul, we've already made some changes to the navigation menu at the top of the page.

To improve consistency across the game, all pages now feature an enlarged navigation bar with a back button.

We've also simplified the navigation bar menus:
