Oh geeze, nice catch on the Food check boxes Asfridur. I hadn't caught that either. I don't know why they arn't checked by default? Since right now the default IS to offer those things to borders haha.

My lessons on here are 57e, and on there are 53e, mostly it seems to be the medows, horse level and comps saving my butt from total destruction. I'll have to see how my boxes on the prepod fair since I added the tack/food to them, but with all my 2** boxes, not well me thinks XD

All I can say to this is default smiley :-x
With the current tweaks here you can balance it out and still allow several very low GP horses and several blups. When the changes come that won't be doable.

The graphics very clearly tell you the level of the horses skills are too low.
Could be caused by several factors
    - too many horses are being blupped at the same time. Dragging down the top skill - check to that
    - too many low GP horses with matching low skills. Check to that. Low GP unis as in under 1000GP - and thus matching low skills
    - need more higher GP horses with matching high skills

    *rolls over dead*

Time to give it some thought and try to prepare a little before the change does come-

Well, I think it is just going to be harder to keep stuff at 100% prestige all the time. Is that really such a terrible thing?default smiley :) All good EC's having 60e lessons is going to be a thing of the past, but that just means that lessons will pay less. It doesn't have anything to do with your horse's morale, it just means equus will be harder to come by later.

I'm pretty sure the default WAS that what is in stock is also offered but it seems that changed now, through it won't let me offer fodder till I reach the minimum amount for the number of boxes I have...

Which makes me wonder: should I ever drop below the amount of fodder/oat I need to feed all horses, will the remains just stay rotting in my inventory instead of being available when a boarder would need it?

"If not all boarders get this no-one will get it" even when you are only 1 item short?!

btw with being able to check the boxes for carrots and oats I still have 36e lessons, no idea if it takes longer to take effect...

The real issue is that the lesson price determines the skill gained by the horse for doing the lesson default smiley ;) A major point for all Skillers, some divines (fabellas for example) and those who just like to try and get the most out of their horses. And since they may only gain lesson skills until age 25 there's a definite advantage to having 60e lessons for your EC, since without the borders are taking an actual hit to their potential total skill level, which in turn effects the EC's horse skill rating & the horse owner's ability to compete.

It's really not just the equus gained via lessons (personally I dont care about that income, I care about the skill gain).

You all do know that the lesson prices will only matter for like, a month, before all your hard work goes to dust? So why get worked up about the lesson prices when all you do won't matter anymore? I would get worked up about having the lessons taken away.

Am I reading this correctly that the boarders can leave your EC with the Centers tack? Leaving the EC owner to replace tack over and over again?

I hope that is not the case. I see a whole lot of closed and private centers coming in the future......

Who is going to offer tack if it can be taken away and you have to replace it day after day?? The centers can't make enough money to replace it especially now since we have to grow food for the boarders and can't grow just cash crops.

First we have to buy blankets for all our horses if we want to comp, now we will have to buy tack for all of them because who is going to offer tack if you're just giving it away to boarders.

The new rates will discourage people from even boarding. Who can afford to keep a bunch of horses in 200e centers? It will cost thousands a day to keep your horses boarded and you can't even sell horses anymore. No one has money or any ways to make any as it is. They have dried up almost all revenue sources.
