    Ooh those new divines/wilds look awesome! And I was hoping they'd bring the magic ride back!
    It would make so much more sense to me if Tarpan and Hippidion were wild horses seing as the tarpan is also know as the Eurasian wild horse and Hippidions were thought to be closely related to wild horses. However they may still be divines.
    As for the packs, they're OK I'd prefer to have the Olympus and Asgard packs offered again since they gave APs and a choice of divine as well. However the new packs still seem pretty cool, I wonder how much they'll be.

    Please let this be a new set of Extinct Divines...I demand Quaggas! (okay, so they are more a relative of the Zebra but they're still my all time favorite extinct equine). Though if it is being called Horse Evolution - it's probably going to be a set that shows the evolution of the Horse over time (starting from the smallest members of Equine ancestry (like Hippidion) leading up the current genus of Equus)

    This sounds very interesting, and I wonder when it'll start. I can't wait!!! default smiley <:o) (keep in mind that I haven't done promos in a while, so I haven't developed the "too many promos" mindset yet)

    Ugh?? I thought we can't have any thing to do with religion? Evolution? Really? So we all just came from monkeys and the earth just evolved one day a couple billion years ago. Even though the theory of evolution keeps changing. But I'm a bitter unhappy person who should just "go with the flow".     Everytime Howrse introduces something new, there's always someone that gets offended. The funny thing is, this time, we only got the pictures, and no proof yet. So no need to be offended so much so sudden..and evolution is proven to exist through genes and natural selection.

    Well hey, keep in mind Howrse has unicorns and Pegasi and plenty of other wacky horses. They certainly aren't telling you to believe in anything! default smiley :)

    "Can't have anything to do with religion" is a bit misleading. Howrse does a lot of things related to myths, which are PART of religions--sort of like characters from storybooks--but does not actually teach what they're about.

    Hera's Pack, for example, deals with birth, but the goddess herself dealt with marriage, so it's kinda-sorta related (if you squint). Medusa's Blood, however, is a little closer to the actual myth, as it says Pegasus was created from her blood when she died. I like to think of them as cameo appearances for the sake of gameplay, and some of the myths even have some historical significance. In fact, from what I've read, the ancient Greeks didn't see them as stories but as actual events, every bit as real as me going to the store yesterday. Neat, isn't it?

    Why not add evolution into the mix? There's a definite mix of mythology and history to it as well, so why not? It's not really any different from the other stuff.

    Evolution has nothing to do with religion...it's a scientific theory. May go against your personal religious beliefs, but that's how games go. If you don't like it, don't play.
