- .. VIP is likely a way to get those sort of players sorted out. If an older player without VIP wants VIP bad enough, It takes nothing to get a skiller and win a few rosettes during update.
It would be silly for howrse to pick a new player to the game, and ask them their opinion on something that would affect things far beyond what that newer player understands at the moment
Let's remember we don't know if someone is a new player or not, many players restart their accounts and have been here since the beginning
Click to displayAs a RC collector, I'm very horrified to learn that retired coats will be allowing a few more uses. There are many coats that are in my collection that I've spent years looking for and that have been retired for a very, very long time. So now, a player can just put in a big chunk of change and grab a coat? While there are some old coats I'd love to have, I can't justify this being a good thing. Many RC's are even rarer than they show as many copies are still living on "dead accounts" and very few are "in circulation". I also have to agree with those who bring up the point that it isn't fair to the artists either. If it's a Creation Space coat, then they submitter picked a use limit and that shouldn't be changed. The Pre-CS coats were either retired by the player or retired when that player left and they shouldn't even be touched. This makes me sick that Howrse is even thinking of doing this. Luckily, I haven't spent any money on this game, but my heart hurts for those that have, especially the RC collectors, some of which I feel are good friends. Absolutely out of line to even think about introducing this.
This is how i feel, i'm a teenager and spending my hard earned money on this game occasionally, i don't want my money to just be thrown down the drain, i also don't want my money to be part of what may help bring this new feature, that i hate, to the game.
I got on the test server for the VIP account, anybody can get on it, i'm pretty sure you don't have to be a VIP, there's just a lot of players to choose from on the game
Due to the VIP there are now VERY few normal players invited as there is something at the top of the page for VIPs to click. Just to add I *think* non VIPs get a shorter testing time but I could be wrong.

There aren't nearly as many VIPs as non VIPs, like wildfire just said, they have been invited before, just remember how many people are registered on this server and they will only have maybe one hundred people on the test server at a time and people may get asked more than once, it's random, i'm sure everyone will get a chance
