    Reposting my question because I'm still hopelessly confused...Would be grateful if someone could explain, please...default smiley :$ If I understand this right (and probably don't) if we put MB on a horse, we can then pick a GA coat that has wings? (I'm assuming this since I have the option to pick a unicorn GA coat for my actual unicorns...)....But with this new change, they take away the MB + GA combo so.....No more GA coats with wings? If that's the case (and those who HAVE winged GA coat and lose it default smiley :'( ) will we be able to select them still, or will they just...Cease to be available? default smiley (o)

    Any horse with a ga that does not have wing and has a mb the mb will be removed no sure about the coat. So in that case if you want the mb bonus and a ga you will have to add wings then the ga or you can get rid of the ga add wing and add a ga

    Basically the Golden apple coats Must now reflect what the species of equid is.
    If you have a pegasus it will be a Pegasus Golden Apple coat
    If it a Unicorn it will be a Uni GA coat
    If it is a horse it will be a Horse GA coat
    The new kicker is..
    If you have Horse GA coat and then decide to give Medusa blood .. you loose the GA coat
    If you have a pony GA coat and decide to give it Medusa blood.. you lose the pony GA coat
    Just like during promos If you have GA uni and dehorn it turning it into a horse.. you lose the GA Unicorn coat, If you have a pegasus and pluck its wings turning it into a horse you lose your Pegasus GA coat

    I'm liking the new horse coats and looking forward to fraternal twins with the Hera Pack for a VIP perk. Sounds exciting. Have they already added that perk to the Hera Lack or is it still in testing??

In fact, we are very lucky to still have those historic relics at all because they are totally out of sync with Owlient's current mission to make Howrse more immersive. Since Owlient has already put a great deal of thought and effort into allowing us to keep them, I have no fear that they will suddenly change when the base graphics do.

    There is other evidence. Certain promos allow us to remove the wings from a Pegasus and the horn from a unicorn. During those promos, if you remove the wings from a Pegasus with a GA or RC, then the coat will be lost and the horse or pony will revert back to the base graphic. Likewise, if you remove the horn from a unicorn with a GA or RC, then the coat will be lost and the horse or pony will revert back to the base graphic. The same pattern continues when you remove the wings from a Pegasus with a DA or the horn from a unicorn with a DA. That is very strong evidence that Owlient has already been treating DAs like coats for some time. I predict they will continue to do so.

    DAs are historic relics that are treated like coats. We will not lose any GAs or RCs or other special coats when the new base graphics are released. I think it goes to follow that our DAs will remain untouched, as well. I'm banking on it! I have a priceless foundation Peruvian Paso unicorn with a truly one of a kind DA coat. I expect it to remain in place when all of the changes occur. - TheSilverUnicorn


    I disagree. I think the picture frames are just a temporary fix.


    Regardless of whether those boxes are a temporary fix or a permanent solution, there is ample evidence to suggest that our DAs are going to remain untouched when the new base graphics are introduced to the game.
