Where did you change your UN without VIP? Firstly it can only be done on the test sever which requires VIP?
On the test server.
And you can get on the test server by being invited by the Howrse team, not just by inviting yourself with the vip account.
I am [space]Enterprise on there, and as you will see, I don't have the vip account there.

It does not require the VIP account ~ and here's proof:

I hd no idea, I only ever got invited as a VIP and it said on the invite 200 slots left for VIPs Etc
And sorry it was my best friend who told me it was a VIP perk and then I realised it was just in account but assumed it was still VIP
All the 'invite' option does is give the VIP a near guarantee to the test server. But again - players can still be chosen regardless of account type (it just comes down to luck)- They were not to be removed, there was an item announced that would allow people to buy more copies of them. Due to a huge outcry, that item was decided to be not implemented.
