Click to displayAfter a little hunting around the Internet - I've come across two images that might have just shed the most light possible on Draft Horses:

and

Like when the Balios Trophy updated to saying 6 (but only showing 5) before the 6th one (Volcanic) was released - both of these images were chalked up to being a hiccup in the system that caused them to show early.
If these images are true, then this means that Draft Horses are going to be an actual breed that we can care for and work just like the current set of horses (they will just be their own breed like Pony, Unicorn, etc.). Of course, beyond this - there is no way of knowing if they will be able to interbreed with the other species (excluding Donkeys) or if they will be like Donkeys and can only breed with other Drafts.
Ahh Yes! I've been hoping that would be the case
Click to displayI sort of think it would be weird if the Drafts could breed with ponies, and while I could see them breeding horses, if Howrse has Draft specific comps or something it wouldn't be the case. - 2015-01-19people just keep whining about the meadows for literally weeks, its getting old. We dont know much about it yet so just wait until its in testing to form and voice your opinions and stop crying about it every day.

My thoughts now on them based on what I posted:
Click to display1. No new competitions will be added. Though rare to see, Draft Horses can (and do) compete in events like regular horses...and considering that there are no special comps. for Donkeys, it's safe to assume that Drafts won't get any special ones either.
2. Though tough to call with breeding, I feel that Drafts will either be like Donkeys (only able to breed with other Drafts...but not limited coverings) OR they will just be like normal horses (and considering that there's no option for a Donkey team, yet an option for a Draft Team...there would be no issues with Cross-breeding as it seems the GP would work the same as a regular horse (which I beleive is the reason there's no Donkey team option as Donkey GP goes down, not up) - 2015-01-19ShorahNagi wrote:Click to display1. That makes sense.
Click to displayIt definitely will be interesting if they can breed with other species. I can imagine a bunch of Crosses flooding the sales.... The fact that it looks like they can have teams almost makes me think it will not be limited to Draft only breeding, and if they have regular competitions I don't see interbreeding would be a problem. Well besides the thought of a Shetland mare giving birth to a Shire foal.....

Does someone already know if theClick to displaySeason devines come into sale? And especially Spring

Nope - they have not been in the Sales yet, and it is unknown if they will be. All we can do is wait and see... - 2015-01-19ShorahNagi wrote:

You have gotten my hopes up, Shorah! Hopefully you are correct! - 2015-01-19I can't really notice a problem with removing meadows money-wise guys.
As much as I understand many people (including me) often relies on boxes/meadows for energy and morale gains I honestly don't remember when was the last time I used meadows as a food source.
With over 300 AP horses (which might not be much compared to some but still... it's quite a few) I manage to GAIN money by boarding them in EC's that offer at least fodder and preferably grains.
If you make sure to board in ones that are 20e per night you'll gain at least 10e per a day, as I've never seen EC with lessons lower than 30e.
Using meadow while you own more than few horses is an awful time consumer (considering you're doing at least lessons with your AP horses) as you need to split feeding in two (fodder on meadow, grains fed normally)
So again, I understand concerns about energy/morale gains, even if they'll probably be revised somehow, but it doesn't make sense money-wise at all for me.
