Sadly, no. Wandering horses were part of an old promo and unlikely to come back.
Actually, the Wandering Horses promo has happened several times, with different horses each time, so it's possible that it will happen again.

Click to displayAfter a little hunting around the Internet - I've come across two images that might have just shed the most light possible on Draft Horses:

Like when the Balios Trophy updated to saying 6 (but only showing 5) before the 6th one (Volcanic) was released - both of these images were chalked up to being a hiccup in the system that caused them to show early.
If these images are true, then this means that Draft Horses are going to be an actual breed that we can care for and work just like the current set of horses (they will just be their own breed like Pony, Unicorn, etc.). Of course, beyond this - there is no way of knowing if they will be able to interbreed with the other species (excluding Donkeys) or if they will be like Donkeys and can only breed with other Drafts.

For all those interested in the crop bonus if you own more than 1 Rain (previous conversation on page 837). On a 25 acre scarecrow meadow with manure my friend with 1 Rain had a projected yield of 1379 and did harvest 1375. With 2 Rains my projected yield was also 1379 but I harvested 1445. So I did get the extra yield for owning 2 Rains, it just didn't include the 2nd Rain when projecting at time of planting. I've asked Contact if this could be changed so the projected yield includes the bonus 5% for each Rain owned.

I miss those AP's since it looks like Howrse has cut down a lot on finding AP's while working horses. At least that's my experience over these last few days. My horses hardly find any
