If you want your horse to never be sold, then don't sell it!
Either you are ok with horses being sold to someone who then can decide over their fate, or you are not. And if you are not, then you will have to refrain from trying to make money with selling your horses, it is that simple.
WinterRose was just stating an idea. There is no need to be snippy about it. It was also an opinion and according to rights and rules, everyone should be allowed to say their opinion.

Didn't say I would use it, I personally don't mind the SH and often send horses there. But for those players more squeamish about it, it would be nifty.- But - since I apparently didn't make myself quite clear - what I wanted to say is that we already have a feature that ensures that a horse is never sold: it is called not selling the horse.
So, those oh-so-squeamish players will just have to make their mind up whether horses here are nothing more than a means to get equus or whether they are their 4-legged pixel friends and need to be protected from even one wrong feeding.
