AS for the Diamond Apple - Assassins Creed is right that when it was removed that Howrse stated that if they found a way to fix the glitches and issues with it, that they would consider bringing it back.

I personally would love to see the Diamond Apple return...As it offered no benefit to the horse, and the numbers were not tracked (like retired coats) so there's no real way of knowing the rarity - I don't think it would cause a lot of upset.

Though my dream with it would be for it to return, and all horses with a DA currently be given a free DA to use to update them to the new coat shape [kind of like how all horses with a Helios' Ray before the most recent change to the format were given an unlimited ray so that people could change the background if they no longer liked the way it looked]

Ah well, I can dream ~

I think it would upset all the people who've been buying them for 10+ passes in the sales, regardless of the coat. It's the item that would be the problem.

I used to go nuts buying DA for my horses, unfortunately I lost them all when I let too much time pass and my old account was deleted . Now all I've got are the screen shots of my favorites. If they were to bring the DA back I would start buying passes again as the only BMI that I buy are the GA and HR, I don't really care all that much about breeding the best horses, I just love the perdy coats

There's a whole website devoted to auto correct fails - I think its called autocowrecks or something like that

And yeah, even with it turned off - it can still cause problems (as depending on what phone you have, it will try to guess what you are typing (but I have learned you can train it - my phone has finally learned that I am trying to type Howrse [usually turned into Horse or House], Atrus [usually becomes Atrium], and other odd things)

True ~ forgot about that, so there might be some issues there

Ah well, it's just a dream - with all the new features and the like, I doubt it will be brought back (I have a feeling its probably down near the bottom of the to-do list)

ShorahNagi,:you are right there,thats my biggest worries if something like that was ever introduced.But then again,look at creation space- stolen art,stolen art,manips,smudged photos... reported over and over again and yet they always come back.

As a Diamond Apple collector, I'd love for the item to come back. The item would now be put on the new graphics, making the original DA coated equines still valuable. I'd go hog wild coating horses with Diamond Apples if it returned.

I heard it was coming back someday if they figured it out but was kind of set up different, and if you put it on your horse the horse became unsellable

metvelle;:that rings a bell...I belive I read something in Liliths forum for years ago about a item that would alllow you to put a grafic/photo on a horse (working as GA) but it then would become unsellable...
oh well, maybe that was the idea for new DA.But concidering how much updates they have to finish I guess it will be a while before we hear anything -if anything at all-about new DA.

I disagree Shorah, the numbers are tracked, in a way. Each coat (for the most part) is unique and rare, so it really only has 1 copy. (Of course there are many coats that are just a solid color like the palomino friesans, but you get my point)

They are extremely rare and I, personally, have paid over 1000 passes and countless equus for my collection. I don't wish for that to go down the drain. Benefits or not, I would not like to see it happen.
Their value would diminish greatly and I could see countless collectors voicing their negative opinions on the matter.
