- Ah ha! Finally - a glitch on Preprod has been fixed and I learned the information I wanted to know the most of crafting:

As usual - the larger the Workshop you have, the more you can make at a time:
Small - 1 trough (1500 iron)
Medium - 2 troughs (3000 iron)
Large - 3 troughs (4500 iron)
and that it will take 10 hours no matter how many you craft.
*Note that I do have the Artisan employee on Preprod, which:
While they are employed, production cycles in workshops are reduced by 20 %.
Not sure if that means how much time, or how much resources are used - but this at least gives a rough idea
