- I was expire eating on PreProd, and I came up with a probability for the levels on TCs. I will use this as a reminder not to blow away all of my passes:
So what I did is I recorded how far I was able to get in each TC (I only got my gifts early once because I couldn't resisit a treasure chest
)
So this is math (you may have better or worse luck):
You have a 100% chance of getting to level 2, so you only have to open one TC to get to level 2.
You have about 66% chance of getting to level 3, so you probably only need to open about 2 TCs in order to get to level 3
You have a 40.5% chance of getting to level 4, so you probably only need to open about 3 TCs to get to level 4
You have about a 20% chance of getting to level 5, so you probably need to open about 5 TCs to get to level 5
You have about a 7.5% chance of getting to level 6, so you probably need to open about 13 TCs to get to level 6
You have about a 3% chance of getting to level 7, so you probably need to open about 26 TCs to get to level 7
You have about a .5% chance of getting to level 8, so you probably need to open about 200 in order to get to level 8
This is all based off of my results, so I hope that this helps you decide whether or not to try one last time for that divine
My odds aren't looking good for Bailos, so I might not get him. I understand the language of math better than Howrses 'it's up to you to pocket your earnings at the right moment'! I wish that after we claimed our gifts, then it would show us what we could've won had we kept going! - On prepod, here is something interesting I noticed while playing with the titan's challenges:
Click to displayNow before anyone claims that I am "cheating the system" or whatnot, keep in mind that this is something I was experimenting with within bounds of Howrse.
So I was loading a movie in another tab in my browser (Firefox) and of course loading videos takes up enormous amounts of bandwidth so therefore my internet connection elsewhere was really slow.
And I noticed that when I clicked "go to the next level" on the titan's challenges, it would either quickly go to the next level, or lag a bit before telling me that I found nothing. It would lag for about a good 2 seconds with the spinning monkey thing.
In that time, while the monkey loading animation kept spinning, I quickly clicked "claim my gifts", and instead of losing, I got the gifts 50% of the time if I was fast enough.
That kind of reminds me of how you can enter 6-7 comps at a time by quickly going down the rows and hitting "enter" on a lot of comps before you're redirected back to the horse's care page. (If you know what I'm talking about)
Now maybe it's just with me, and maybe somehow this is "against Howrse rules", but it's just something I noticed.
Also, here are some stats I had on prepod.
With a limit of 100 passes, I won 2 Summer divines and 2 treasure chests. That gives you an idea of the chances. And even though I spent 100 passes, I did not get to level 8. I've spent 200+ passes now and have still not reached level 8, but that's just me.
