well, ain't this fun. All sorts of changes, no one will know what's going on, rumors will run amok, and because you can't restart your EC if something goes wrong, and it will, you have to start over from scratch with a new account, and lose everything you worked for. Kinda like real life, I guess. If you ain't elite, you just don't matter.
I just don't know how you screw up so badly that you need a new account. Pretty much all situations are repairable after the equus merge.

That just isn't true. If you put the effort in you can come back from the bottom and reach the top if you try. The reason you can't restart your EC is because you start with 25k equus (Might of been removed) and if people kept restarting they would keep getting those equus. Think smart and you won't get to a position where you have no where to go. As long as you can make some sort of equus then I suggest just closing your EC for use until you can grow enough crops and get a decent amount of resources. Also you don't have to be elite to matter on this game. It really comes up to me like your trying to bend the reality. I am far from elite yet I am able to manage a decent game where I don't rely on handouts.- It's easy to screw up when you are a beginner. Many of us had more than one EC and had to start over (I did not, by the way) And putting in effort? This is not a job, it's a game. It shouldn't be about who has the most ability to put in time doing repetitive tasks on a computer.
I don't know who Vespavian is aiming that SHAMING post, but it ain't me. I worked for everything I have, but for most of the time I've been playing, I had very little time to play here, and I would NOT have stuck around had things been this complicated, confusing, and competitive.
