    As far as I know - there are NO plans to shut Howrse down. Anything you hear about that is simply a rumor (It never fails actually that that rumor starts each time there is a new major update made to the game)

    As for issues with the EC changes - I know the Admins and Techs are hard at work fixing some of the issues that have since popped up [Centers saying they have no places when they do, lesson issues, etc] - just give it time

    Like any promotion - they happen at random. The ones in September of last year were a tie-in for the World Equestrian Games (which were held in France where Howrse is based out of)

    All we can do is wait and see what the future might hold

    I'm really interested to see what breeds the draft horses will be. I wonder if they'll be the most common ones known ie Shires and Clydesdales or if they'll be purely French breeds like the Percheron, Breton, Boulonnais, or Poitevin.

    Now that I think about it do we know how many different breeds of draft horses are being introduced in May. Is it just one or more?

    I think it would be really interesting to have breeds that aren't as well known as Shires and Clydies, as much as I love them.

    I'm curious as to where your friend got this information exactly. I do not want to come over as rude but unless it comes directly from an official Ubisoft press release, I would not hold a grain of salt to it.

    If they had any intention of shutting down the game we would see at least:

    Development would have stopped entirely as they would not continue to put money into something that is closing. Thus we would never see updates or additions, and the upcoming content would have been canceled months ago.

    An official press release would be done at least 6 months in advance, generally explaining the how and why for them shutting down a game as massive and world wide as Howrse. Ubisoft is a publicly traded company and those sort of major business decisions are made public well in advance.

    So I seriously wouldn't be worried at all default smiley ;)

    Two breeds of draft horses are going to be introduced in May.

    I cannot remember if it was in this topic or the RC topic last month but someone posted all the coats that will be released this month before the VIP release etc happened and I was wondering if anybody knows yet?
