You may be right, but I find that the amount of passes that I've spent on the prepod never equate to what I actually spend on the game. For example, when we were testing the cards, it took my nearly 100 passes to complete the collection in one day (obviously not being patient with the duplicates ) but on here it took me just under 40 passes to complete the collection in one day + trading in one duplicate. I'm not sure if that's just better luck than before but I almost think they make it harder to complete the promo on the prepod in order for them to see if it's fair enough for the players. I can't imagine spending over 200 passes to get a single divine anyways and I don't see who would

No, but piñata points will once they arrive.

Also, regarding the passes used on piñata a- also consider that impatience has a price. Surely if a person did very possible objective and click and then waited til the last day of the promo before using passes or HoPs, they would spend siginficantly less because they took the time to accumulate points from other methods.

I used a pass to buy some cards and had some good luck getting the puzzles worked on. But then I bought another one and I got polo wraps.. straw.. and 3 beet cards! I couldn't trade them in..not even one because the first time I bought cards I got my first duplicate. What a waste actually. So much for saving for summer. I only have 1 pass now.

I was hoping someone would say this. Unless you are extremely lax in clicking or just buy HOPs right away, there should be no way you spend more than 50 passes for the divine. I completed two of the pinata promos before for my (Jupiter/Earth?) divines and I never spent more than 20.

it will take a little more HOPs than the previous ones given we have the same amount of time to complete it, and previous times I've been able to finish the promo using about 12 HOPs or less. So that's why I'm guessing 15-20 for this one.

Yes, that means you'll have to get up in the middle of the night and whatnot later in the promo but you might find a friend that can help you out

since the prices, just like in the cards, are quite bad and even if you get 2 divines.. so did you in the last promo of the same kind.

Just wait it out and try to calculate when the best time is to open your HOPs and you'll be fine quite few passes :P

Actually this is highly untrue. Last pinatas I did all possible click intervals (much thanks to a friend on account share <3 ) + friend clicks + objectives. In the end I spent 30 passes to 100% finish the promo, which gained me Gullifaxi + Greyfell (not counting all the BMI & equus too!). Doing the match that was 15 passes/divine (again not counting all the BMI's values).

For the record my friend spent 28 passes on her final pinatas, her hop opening was slightly more lucky than I ;D

We both simply did all possible in game clicks and very carefully calculated how many points we'd be sort of the final pinata and opened just enough HOP to cover that, and no more. The real trick to that promo is tag teaming with someone you trust to ensure you cover ALL the click intervals. It's easy at first, at once every 12hr, then 8, but later on it gets down to 2hr every time, and at least you'd have to be on howrse every 4hrs to reach those, but if you and a friend agree on set times you're responsible for the clicks then you can both get more than 4hours of sleep XD

This is basically what I do for any promo like pinatas where you have to click every X amount of hours (the locked horse promo was very similar, not sure if there were others). I believe if you do the math, you can get to the last pinata (or could when we had gullifaxi) but not open it without HOP opening, but even then it's not a ton. Every promo I aim to spend the least amount of diamond/passes possible to gain what I want, and often I find the divines are cheaper via promo than later in RS (gully was how much? 15 or 20? Minus any BMI)

Also as a note, I got my pinata's HOPs when there wasn't a double points deal (didn't realize they'd have one oops) So, I could have spent less. I actually used diamonds/HOPs in inventory so I don't really care much honestly. (I just convert that into passes for posting sake, other wise it'd be like, I used 12 HOP + 180 diamonds!! which may confuse people who don't realize 180 diamond = 18 passes )

this double points promo... About when does it come through and can anyone on preproduction confirm we'll have it this time around?
