They will only help you with one or two pinatas, two if you're still on the first ones. Most of the HoPs I've opened have given me one or two points for earlier pinatas, and up to four in later ones. I'm on the 9th on PreProd right now, and it requires 50 clicks. That's a LOT of HoPs to pay for, and the HoP promo is over on PreProd for now.

They will be very useful. I completed my Pinata on prepod and for the later pinatas you can get almost 100 points. The most I got was 96 points. The farther into the pinatas you got the more points you get.

you get a different amount of points on each piñata so it depends on when you buy the HOPs. It's always stupid to buy them when you're on your last piñata as one HOP only really gets one-two group (a group is the amount of clicks you get each time you can click as it's almost always more than 1 click/time in the end) of clicks out of the way while a HOP on... the 15th piñata where you might get.. 6 points every 3 hours (just an example) and the HOP will give you 24 points, you "save" 9 hours worth of clicking. On the last piñata that will give you more time to click as you might get 30 points every hour. If you saved 9 hours (you'll in the long run get to the last piñata 9 hours earlier) you'll get 270 more points on the last piñata. If you understand what I'm trying to say :P (this is all an example).

And since this one will probably only have HOPs during a limited amount of time (some of the piñata promos have had them during the entire promo) it's more difficult to plan when to use the HOPs.. Also it seems like we'll get double points in the end.. which makes it even more difficult.

this is also why it's not stupid to open HOPs during the early piñatas even if you only get 1 point, as you probably only get 1 point per click and you click once every 12 hours meaning you save 12 hours with each point you get in a HOP. It might actually be wise to open HOPs that early!

To get through as few HOPs as possible is to take statistics from previous piñata promos (to see what amount of points you will probably get on each piñata in a HOP) and calculate at what point the HOPs you open will save you the greatest amount of points. A good indicator that it is a good piñata to use it on is usually 1. A piñata that has an objective that doubles/triples the points you already have when you finish the objective or 2. a piñata that takes a long period of time.

In the case of #1, this is because the points you get in a piñata is depending on the amount of points needed in total for the piñata. Say you have a piñata that require 1000 points. The last objective is something like "Do X. Reward; The amount of points already earned trippled" meaning you won't validate that objective until you have 334 points. In this case, you might get 35 points in every HOP, but that means that the HOPs are actually worth over 100 points! This is also since these objectives in particular tends to take quite a time to reach 334 points or whatever since you already got a great advantage on the piñata (the points you have tripples) so it's usually a good idea to use HOPs in that situation.

in the case of #2, it's good since the piñatas usually take a long time due to few points in the HOPs OR a long time between the clicks. It's usually a good idea to use HOPs here as it usually shortens the time significantly with each HOP you use!

I've finished the piñatas on less than 10 HOPs but then it was only 20 piñatas (not 21 like this time).. on another server obviously as I don't have any divines here lol

Obviously it's muuuch cheaper if you do all the clicks (which I've always done, be prepared to lose some sleep ) ...
