Click to displayI gathered some statistics regarding percentages of relics, bones, and prizes for digs and have done a little math to see how many passes it might take to complete. So here goes. Please correct me if I am wrong on anything (honestly, I kind of hope I am
I did 100 regular digs as well as 100 digs using mines. This is a rather small group as far as statistics go, so the percentages may be a bit off. But 100 is an easy number, and regardless, they should be relatively close.
Regular Digs:
- Relics: 63%
- Bones: 24%
- Traps: 7%
- Prizes: 6%
Mine Digs:
- Relics: 58%
- Bones: 24%
- Traps: 0%
- Prizes: 18%
And then I did some math in an attempt to see how many passes we might need to complete it. I'll lay it out for you here.
On Preprod, the Underwater Excavation promo is going for 16 days (May 13th to May 28th). The number of digs we can do each day goes up every few days as we barter for better equipment. So far, what we have been able to do are as follows:
Days 1 and 2 (13th and 14th): 10 digs per day
Days 3, 4, and 5 (15th, 16th and 17th): 15 digs per day
Days 6, 7, 8, and 9 (18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st): 20 digs per day
On the 10th day (22nd) we will be able to barter and will get 25 digs per day. If the pattern continues as it has been going, we will be able to barter for 30 digs on day 15 (27th). However, I won't know this dig timeline for sure until the 22nd. So, I am assuming it will go like this:
Days 10, 11, 12, 13, and 14 (22nd, 23rd, 24th, 25th, and 26th): 25 digs
Days 15 and 16 (27th and 28th): 30 digs
So. throughout the entire promo on preprod, we should have approximately 330 total digs. If the above percentages hold true, we should find approximately 79 bones. Which means that we would still need 83 bones. Based on the above percentages, we would need approximately 336 additional digs (with mines). If you only buy mines when they have the double mines special going on, that would equal 58 passes.
Its possible that the promo will be longer once it goes live (let's hope so!), so I did some calculations out to 20 days. For days 17, 18, 19, and 20 we would be getting 30 digs per day (assuming the pattern holds true). In this case, we should find approximately 115 bones through daily digs. We would need 47 more, or approximately 196 digs. This would equal about 33 passes if you only buy during the double mines special.
So in the end, unless they change something, it looks like it could be anywhere from 30 to 60 passes to complete this promo.
Any specific pathways that Percherons are found?
Since gifts are on the same spot for everyone, but what you get inside the gift is totally different from another player, there isn't exactly a specific pathway or route to finding the percheron, as it its in a different location for everyone
