Retired breeder
I just joined the game today! I am having a hard time navigating, but I'm sure I'll get used to it as time goes on. I am having a hard time finding things to do outside of objectives and taking care of my horses. Anyway, I just wanted to ask the community for advice for a first-time player! Cheers <3

Remember that even with the Pegasus or VIP account you have to finish beginner obj 72 to get access to the breeding farms. Many players think that getting a special account will open up the breeding farms faster. Sadly that is not the case

When working on competition part of your EC prestige here's some information to keep in mind.
    1. make sure all 5 comps are being offered. quite often when people ask how to improve it they aren't offering all 5 comps thinking that it helps prestige. it has the opposite effect. any comp not offered counts as 0% and anything is better than 0%. even if it doesn't run often anything is better than 0%
    2. have your comps set for horses with more than 20 wins.
    3. don't start your difficulty super high to start. best to slowly increase it. also make it isn't so high that very few horses can enter. saw a comp once from someone asking how to improve their comp prestige. the difficulty was so high literally like 4 horses in the entire game could enter it.

How do you register a horse for stables? I have one boarded but it doesn't tell me how to add another horse

I am having a hard time finding how to get to where you pick a boarder for your horse. If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated! Briar Meadow

Feeding your horse when it has high energy (ie 80%) gives you more energy than feeding at low energy (ie 20%).
The less energy your horse has, the more energy competitions take. This is useful when your eventual daily objectives ask you to enter a competition that uses 18-20% energy.
Strokes are opposite to feed. The lower hour horses energy, the more energy a stroke gives. I can get 11% when my horse is at 5%, but above 30% the same action gives me 4%
A very basic daily plan is start with a lesson, feed, do all your daily activities to get the energy super low, then hit them with the stroke before any other action. Even if you're at 5%, a stroke and water should get you back over 20%. Then just bed before 10pm (2200) and you're golden.

As for boarding, somewhere on your horses page there should be text saying "(horses name) is not registered for in an equestrian Centre" theres a little arrow/link to the right of it usually that will take you to a new page, showing you different centers.
But don't just grab the one with the highest prestige. There should be a filter option on the page next to the search bar. Adjust the settings and requirements you need. I'd recommend starting with a centre that charges 20e/day and offers you full tack to start with, and as you learn the game better, start asking for different things.
The best time to find a good EC is right after the game updates, because all the old tenancies end and anyone that didn't extend their stay has their horse kicked out. Once you have a center you like, you can extend for a month at a time, or you can just place horses in which ever stable is available when you want to work the horse (thats my method because I don't work the same horses every day)
