You would still be able to breed the team horses that you own as long as they fall under the gp limit the team has set for coverings.

So if there is not a set max for coverings or sales I would be able to breed all the ones i produced?

And is that the same across all species on the game? (Unis. riding horses, donkeys)

Yes, if there is no set limit you can breed all the ones you owned whether you produced them or not. If there is a limit set then you won't be able to breed any horses you produced over the limit but you can still change the affix as far as I'm aware.
It's the same for all breeds and species.

After being the owner of the Iron Horses, I can say that you have to be on the team to breed with the affix.

Yes, you have to be on the team to use the affix. But that isn't what OP is asking.

They're asking, if you were on a team but aren't anymore, but you still own horses with the team affix, can you breed from those horses. Yes, you can, as long as they are under any GP limit the team has set for coverings. It's the same as if you bought team-bred, team-affixed horses from the sales -- of course you can breed from them, as long as there isn't a team-set GP limit in the way.

I was curious how others find information for teams recruiting or looking to add members? Specifically, those in team breeding looking for others to join.

Upon leaving the team, now I know that yes I can breed the ones I produced however if they were pregnant at the time I left the team then the foal will have that team's affix, then the subsequent foals can have my affix.
