Hey everyone,
I just started a few days ago but I still haven't been able to verify my email. I'm seeing that there was a problem not long ago, so I'm wondering if anyone else is having trouble? I go to the passes button and it says you need to verify your account to access this feature. I click the button, and it takes me to my account page. I've been going to the email section, but is there something I should be doing instead? I've sent myself several verification emails and I've gone into all of them, but I can't find a button to click or something like that to verify it. I click on the link, and it just takes me to the normal game. Is there something I'm missing, somewhere else I need to look, or is something just wrong? I contacted the tech team, and they responded to the first one with basic stuff I'd already done and they never responded to the second one. Thanks everyone!

    The second Admin reply could be held up by the fact that it is the weekend and only very urgent calls can be dealt with. Monday may bring a result.

    I don't know if this is a general problem at the moment but a few things to try. The system should be sending you an email which you then use to activate the verification. If you don't have anything in your email inbox you should check the junk folder as it often lands up in there.

    If you definitely have not received an email you should try again.

    If you are on the app uninstall it and reinstall it.

    If you are on mobile or classic view in a browser then you need to clear your cache and cookies (Google can help if you don't know how. All browsers are slightly different)

    Then do the verify from the passes page again and recheck email and junk.

    If none of that works and you have not had an answer from Admin you can use your existing ticket to Contact Us to reopen it and tell them everything you have done.

    This also happened to me, the app and mobile version say I’m under 16 years old, I’m not and my age in the game is correct, when I reached out to customer service they said it was my error when I downloaded the app, however I find that hard to believe when I deleted and reinstalled it never asked an age, and it also says the same thing on the mobile version through safari, I can only access everything on the classic version. This only just happened after their last updates so I believe it’s an error on their side, because it also says if I verify my email I can do “xyz” but it does not allow me to verify an email and says error every time. Customer service offered no help or updates once their initial reinstall the app claim didn’t work. It’s unfortunate and frustrating as I can’t get on like I used to because of it. I couldn’t even comment on this thread without the classic version because of the age restriction.

    To clarify, I did the send verification email and got the email, but I can't find a way to verify through the email they sent.

  • In the email, there should be a 'Confirm my email address to play' button. Once clicked, it should redirect you back to Howrse and state that your email has been varified.
