Passes in app Vs browser

Yep I'm not kidding. I just purchased from both. It cost the same but I got 57 passes from the app and 100 on the browser.

I play both on browser and on the app. For me the app has an option to get 59 passes for 99 cents and then the next closest option is 399 passes for $4.99. On the browser the first option is 100 passes for $1.80 and then 1000 for 14.99. The ratio of cents per pass when buying the cheapest options on the browser versus the app would therefore be that it is $0.017 per pass on the app and $0.018 per pass on the browser. It is ultimately $0.001 cheaper to buy passes on the app.

Yes, this is a known phenomenon. Browser and app prices will sometimes differ for passes and packs that are for sale. Check both to see which is the better price if you are ever looking to spend real money on something for the game.
