Last summer I was checking cows on an old mare that's a Quarter Horse Draft cross, I didn't saddle her because she rides bareback well. On the way to where all the cows where she swung her head up in there air to get the flies off, and one of the reins fell put of my hand, and her reins aren't connected, so I was trying to grab it from in her back, but I couldn't so eventually I fell off. I put the rein back on but I couldn't just jump on her back from right next to her, so I had to take a 10 foot run and jump(thank goodness she's 19 and she doesn't care about that stuff anymore) it only took me about 3 tries. I was just glad I wasn't going to have to walk 3 miles
