- 2022-05-12Can I just clarify
Horses can still find the CF items during actions, I don't have to equip my grand prix runners with one to get the ToG bonus?
It isn't retroactive, (not that I often used it) on horses already equipped, neither can these horses have it removed or be 're equipped to take advantage of the ToG?I - 2022-05-12Was a fan of the Croesus Fortune change until I re-read the announcement and comments here and sorted it out.
I know everyone plays a little different, but for me:
All my competition horses are given CFs, and since the change isn't retroactive to CFs in use (my first misread of the announcement, I thought they were, but now see only the CFs in storage are retroactive) so now all of my competing horses, especially Divine and Immortals, are at a permanent disadvantage to the horses coming up.
I got Longma soley for the possibility of finding Tubs of Grease. He will help a little for the horses stuck with old CFs, but as old horses fall out and new horses are brought up he will only be occasionally a help to some Divines and Immortals, and useless to all the others, including the filler horses used in the Grand Prix as they do not rank high enough to matter how they finish.
Thank you Ow for considering making this to include CFs in use. If not, maybe an objective in a future event that allows us to remove CFs... not ideal but at least the more "important" horses could get out of the old CFs. (will there be a way to tell the old from the new, or will we just have to "keep track in case?")
Is there anything that can be done for Longma and (if any) anyone else that supplies ToG to make them more desirable again?
I do like the Bonus Pack change as, like some others, I don't use them because I have plant horses and can't afford to have my horses give equus instead of droppings. I only have 3 plants and I still can only feed them for the more productive seasons of "spring" and "summer" because even then I am watching my droppings inventory slowly decreasing. So now I can use the Bonus Packs that have been gathering dust in my back room!
- 2022-05-13You know how you can put a special coat on a horse and have it replace another special coat? I wonder if you can do that using bonus packs to replace old CFs.. Granted, its a waste of an item, but maybe you could add it to your highest priority horses if it's a big issue? I've never tried it so I don't know if it'll work though.
That said, howrse still needs to correct this. Players shouldn't need to waste items because the developers decided to disadvantage them by not changing all the item mechanics when they changed the item. - 2022-05-13Retired breederShadowKokufu wrote:

The CF is no longer in the Bonus Pack. Why they won't refunded alongside the P Parchment I don't know. - 2022-05-13Retired breeder wrote:Thanks for reminding me about that

I'm happy to report that we are working on making the Croesus' Fortune fully retroactive in our next update. The idea being that all horses equipped with it before the change will receive the 3 bonus items!
- WednesdayRetired breederPlease consider making it possible to disable friend requests; I come on here to get away from almost all social interactions, that includes people sending friend requests when it is stated nowhere that they are accepted. I shouldn't have to put it on my page that I don't feel comfortable with strangers attempting to "friend" me; I highly value my privacy online, to the point that I don't want strangers being able to see when I am online.

We already have an inability to send messages. Friend requests, in turn, belong to the notification category. I think it's easier to just ignore random requests, especially when there are fewer of them than other notifications.
Now, those who have sent you a friend request will not see your activity or any other information until you accept them yourself. Although, if it is the fact of disclosure of information that worries the players, then perhaps you should think about the "invisibility" function. But there is still a question of how to implement this when the date of the last login is written on the main page of the player
