[UPDATED] Devs' Corner: May 2026

Got the 20 hours if mountain rides one today...I don't even have a horse currently BLUPing that NEEDS mountain rides yet, and why waste energy on horses who have already done it when I can get equus from comps or missions :l

I would like to add that swapping 'cover a draft uni' gave me 'give birth to a uni' so *insert choice words* I'd be alot more irritated if I was on day 6 or 7 of the weekly objectives and had to scrap it all because of this. The only successful uni I've bred was because of Hestia's Gift, so you need to it easier to do successfully breed unicorns or get rid of it. I'm not going to sit here and age my unicorns multiple years to do an objective that gives me 20 passes. The Daily Objectives should be doable by everybody and not cost the player a net negative in doing them.

Once again asking for the ability to disable random friend requests, I always get tons during these kind of promos, despite having it on my page that I don't accept them.

Just like pretty much everyone else, I'm not a fan of the new objectives. I got ''Cover a draft unicorn'' today, had to swap as I don't have any, and draft unis cost 100+ passes per in sales. When I swapped, I got ''Give a carrot to a donkey unicorn''. I don't have any donkey unis either, and they're also super expensive. Thankfully a team member sent me a donkey uni, but if they hadn't, I wouldn't have been able to complete my objectives today.

It's starting to get really tiring that none of the feedback given by players are taken seriously.

Lastly, please fix the error with the new companion objective. I've seen many players waste multiple inventory companions, simply because it's been written wrong(you're suppoused to give a companion to a special horse). This game just keeps taking steps in the wrong direction...

So yesterday one of my objectives was to put a Black Market item from the Optimization category on a horse. This was showing as already being validated and wasn't letting me click it to validate or anything and nothing was showing in my inventory as getting the passes for it. Sent a ticket to contact and of course they are aware and working on it. Today when I got on my progress is back to the beginning as it says I didn't do all the objectives yesterday. Added to my note to contact again letting them know..
Can I say again how much I hate this change

To be honest, this is one of the most disgusting updates I can remember. These objectives are not only difficult, they are completely impossible impossible for most players. In addition, the costs for them are completely unjustified, and the exchange of a objective for the Equus depreciates, because it gives a new, but exactly the same impossible objective. Horn of plenty, received at the end of the week, and inside which there is a couple of excrement and a carrot, is absolutely not worth all this effort. Disappointing and angering such an attitude towards the players. I'm not going to invest in a game that seems free, but in fact is literally pulling money out of my pockets.

I swapped my "cover a donkey unicorn" objective and got "birth a unicorn" as the replacement.

Ya, REAL fair there Howrse.

What bothers me so much about these new objectives is just how much they will cost to get started. Checking the sales right now, a Fala is going for almost 1000 passes, so, in order to make your passes back, you will have to complete this objective 50-100 times based on what the pass amount is, how is this fair? That doesn't even factor in the amount of time you have to enter in competitions just to get it to trigger.
