I know I’m late to this discussion, but I truly don’t understand why the trophies had to be replaced. We all know the phrase “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”- and trophies definitely weren’t broken. I’ll admit some of the divine collection ones were obscenely pricey, but if people chose to chase them anyway that is money in YOUR pocket. Why remove that? Don’t get me wrong, I DO like the new system, for its prizes and the excitement of hitting a new milestone and filling up the meter. What I DONT understand is why this had to replace the perfectly good trophy system? Why not simply add in a new achievement system if you wanted to do that? Also, the collections page is a nightmare to navigate- clearly just slapped in on an attempt to appease the people who had worked hard on their collections. It’s not good enough. Bring back the old trophies. Keep the new achievements. There is NO reason not to have both. The achievement system is fun! It’s cool! I genuinely applaud you for implementing it (even though I can think of a fair few things I would have preferred to get updated, but that’s another topic…) but to have it completely remove the trophies is an insult to your players and frankly shooting yourselves in the foot. LISTEN to your players, for the love of god. You cannot continue to run Microtransactions The Game if it’s not fun to play.
